• Family Left Homeless After Attack

  

  A Christian pastor, his wife, and college-aged daughter are thankful to be unharmed after they were attacked by a mob of 34 men. A police officer happened to be passing by at the time and rescued the family. Although they escaped with only minor injuries, they are now left homeless, as the attackers seized their property.

• "Recant or Face the Sword"

  

  After a family in the small town of Garsen put their faith in Christ earlier this month, they began to receive threats from Muslims in the area. According to Abdul Abuk-Bakr, they were given a day to either renounce their Christian faith or face severe consequences.

• Christian Convert Released from Prison

  

  A Christian convert from Islam, who had been imprisoned for more than two years, was released on bail recently. Sisir Islam became a believer in 2012 and immediately began sharing Jesus with others in his community, leading 17 friends to Christ.

  On September 23rd, 2014, after returning home from a VOM-supported training centre, Sisir was charged with the murder of a local business man. He later learned that Muslim leaders in his village had accused him of the murder as retribution for his conversion to Christianity.
