We believe the country where Christians are best equipped to minister the Gospel, because of language, culture, and custom, is in their own.
There are severe circumstances in which severely persecuted Christians may be called by God to leave their country for the sake of ministry elsewhere. These are hard decisions to make, but the Biblical pattern for Christians fleeing persecution (link) is out of strategy not fear.
VOM Canada is dedicated to partnering with well-positioned organizations that can help Christian families make the right decision in the right way, but, because of our specific mission and vision, we are not able to directly assist in evacuation from a restricted nation.
